This text is a tribute to the work Hermeneutics juridical e(m)crisis, by Lenio Streck. The relevance of the book in question for Brazilian legal hermeneutics is highlighted, as well as the centrality of the philosophy of language and, particularly, of the constitutive conception of language for contemporary debates on the theoretical status of law, as opposed to the philosophy of conscience and the designative conception of language. Taking Streck's work as a starting point, a reappropriation of the hermeneutic perspective presented by the professor is carried out, in dialogue with authors of this tradition. From a hermeneutic and critical methodological perspective, it is intended to expose the continued relevance of themes explored by the book in question, evidencing, in this sense, the crisis of theoretical paradigms that persists in Brazilian law.
