POPULISTIC PRACTIVES VERSUS REPUBLICAN PROBLEMS

Abstract

In the course of this exposition, together with the vast theme of liberty in today ́s world, I will take on the theme of power relations between the departments of State and their incidence in the degree of institutionalism, describing political and legal phenomena that recently have manifested themselves in several places in Latin America. I will do so, essentially, from the perspective of validity and legitimacy of action of Sate powers, verifying when possible – in the Constitucional perspective – the true degree of effectiveness of the legal system. It is undeniable that to surpass these deficits one must register an uninterrupted climate of republican practices that have been unobserved by effect of populism. Thus, sooner than later we will be able to challenge the icons of unconstitutional culture.
