The text is a descriptive review of the book The National Council of Justice, written by Norberto Ilton Robl F°. This book review shows the concepts, means of implementation and accountability function in the analysis of the National Council of Justice – CNJ. Furthermore, it follows the same general pattern for the descriptive presentation displayed on the book: it is divided into three chapters that present historical aspects of accountability, in the structure of the rule of law and in the Brazilian Constitution as well as in the National Council of Justice.
